RS-232 to Fiber Optic media converters
Our RS-232 to Fiber optic converters can be used to interconnect two RS-232 networks or devices and enable bi-directional communication.
Our converters can be used as peer-peer modems or in a multi drop type network architecture. It is single mode or multimode fiber type. Depends on fiber type single mode converter can communicate or transmit the data over 20 – 100 kms. while multimode converter can serially transmit the data over 2 kms.
