Modbus TCP – Agilent Gateway Solutions (PG-101-142) is a very powerful and outstanding processor that is totally flexible and productive Building & Industrial Automation gateway enabling integrators to easily connect devices to networks in commercial buildings and industrial facilities.
PG-101-142 The Agilent and Modbus TCP protocols are supported by the gateway. On each protocol interface, it can be configured as a Client or a Server.
The Gateway can read data from your Modbus TCP devices and deliver it on Agilent when setup as a Modbus TCP client. It can also write commands to the Modbus TCP devices from the Agilent side.
The Gateway can read data from Agilent devices and provide it as Modbus TCP data when configured as an Agilent client. It can also write commands to Agilent devices from the Modbus TCP side.
On both Modbus TCP and Agilent interfaces, the Gateway may be set to act as a server. When data transmission between a Modbus TCP client (for example, SCADA) and an Agilent client is necessary, this mode is beneficial (for e.g. a Building Management System).
