Using this Converter it is possible to gather data using Modbus / BACnet protocols from field devices and then push this to remote clients using MQTT protocol via an MQTT broker. The Converter can also be configured to subscribe to MQTT topics. This makes it possible for remote MQTT clients to write back commands/set points by publishing on the topics subscribed on the gateway.

The MQTT Converter provides a simple and secure way to connect industrial automation systems with cloud-based applications, IoT platforms, and enterprise software. It supports real-time data publishing, enabling operators to monitor equipment, receive status updates, and perform remote diagnostics from anywhere with internet access. By leveraging the lightweight MQTT protocol, the gateway minimizes network bandwidth while ensuring reliable communication even over low-bandwidth or unstable network connections. It is suitable for smart buildings, manufacturing plants, utilities, renewable energy systems, water treatment facilities, and remote infrastructure monitoring applications.

Historical and live process data can be published for visualization, analytics, predictive maintenance, and alarm management.
